Where can I play?

All Devonport Touch Football rosters are played at Meercroft Park, Devonport. We typically run 1 season, Summer from October through to March consisting of Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, Junior and Primary Competitions.

I've never played touch football before, do you cater to beginners?

Absolutely, at Devonport Touch Football we cater for everyone! Simply register as an individual player in the division you want to participate in via our registration link. This way you can register as an individual and we can place you in a team looking for players. 

I want to play touch football but I don't have a team, what do I do?

Contact the DTA via Facebook or email and we'll assist you to find a team.

How many players per team?

Whilst only 6 players are permitted to take the field at any one time, we suggest you’d want roughly 10-12 players in total. Substitutions are limitless and quite often there’s someone who can’t make it along. 

How much will it cost me to play?

This year Touch Football Australia has launched a new payment procedure.


Each player is required to register online through MySideline. When you register into your first competition you will be prompted to pay a national membership fee of $22.00 plus a state and territory fee of $20.00. This is a once off yearly payment.


Once you have paid your annual membership, you will be able to register into as many competitions as you like that year. Each competition will have its own competition fee. 

The DTA 2023-34 season competition fees are below.

Mixed, Men's, & Women's: $70.00

High School: $26.00

Primary School: $20.00

How do I register?

I'm still in high school, can I play in the senior competition?

Juniors are encouraged to consider playing in the senior competition, as well as the junior competition. under the age of 10 are unable to play in the senior competition as per our competition guidelines. Not sure if you're ready to play in the senior competition? Contact the DTA today to figure out if the senior competition is right for you.
